When is the Horsham Show held?

The Horsham Show is held annually on the AFL Grand Final long weekend.

In 2026, the Twilight Carnival will be held on Saturday 26 September from 5pm to 10pm, followed by Show Day on Sunday 27 September from 10am to 6pm.

Where is the Horsham Show located?

The Horsham Show is held at Maydale Reserve, Horsham Showgrounds, located on the banks of the Wimmera River in Horsham, Victoria.

How much are tickets?

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Yes. Tickets are available online before the event and can also be purchased at the gate during the show weekend.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available at and around the showgrounds. Visitors are encouraged to follow event signage and directions from volunteers.

Can I bring my dog?

For the safety of exhibitors, livestock and visitors, residential/personal pets are not permitted within the showgrounds while the Horsham Show is running unless they are registered assistance animals, or part of the show

Is the Horsham Show suitable for young children?

Absolutely. The Horsham Show is a family-friendly event with carnival rides, animals, children’s activities, entertainment, showbags and interactive displays suitable for all ages.

What entertainment is included with admission?

Admission includes access to a wide range of entertainment, including livestock displays, competitions, exhibits, live performances, roving entertainment, agricultural displays and the Saturday night fireworks display.

Will there be fireworks?

Yes. The Twilight Carnival on Saturday evening features a spectacular fireworks display that has become one of the highlights of the Horsham Show weekend.

Are there carnival rides?

Yes. A variety of carnival rides and sideshow attractions operate throughout the Twilight Carnival and Show Day.

What food is available?

The Horsham Show features a variety of food vendors, community groups and local businesses offering meals, snacks, sweets and refreshments throughout the weekend.

Can I enter a competition?

Yes. The Horsham Show offers a wide range of competitions and exhibits including photography, art, cooking, horticulture, home produce, handcrafts and livestock sections. We encourage young and old to be part of our show
